Golf Balls for Jerry
We're Having a Fundraiser!
On October 5th, Jerry Paquette suffered a stroke. He was transferred to University Medical Center in Cincinnati Ohio where he ultimately passed on October 12th.
Jerry Paquette was a kind and caring man. He was the father to Stratus Helicopters owner, Steve Paquette. Jerry dedicated his life to his family, friends, community and making the world a safer place for us all. He spent a career at the Dayton Power & Light Company but also spent a short time in the US Navy and as an EMT. Jerry was also deeply involved in amature radio, weather spotting and reporting, disaster planning and emergency response.
We're having a Golf Ball Drop to raise the money to buy new Communication Charts and other products to help stroke patients and their families. All proceeds will be donated to University Medical Center NSICU department in Cincinnati in Jerry Paquette's name.
The Ball Drop will take place on November 27th and broadcast via facebook live. When you purchase a golf ball you will be assigned a number for your golf ball or golf balls (all numbers will be emailed prior to the drop). The individual whose ball comes closest to the hole will have $500.00 donated to the Charity of their choice and a free helicopter tour for up to three.
